Hello, I’m Julie, the baker, creator and sugar flower maker at Julie Scrumptious Cake Design. I have a real passion for what I do and love being creative with sugar. Designing bespoke wedding cakes, bringing each design to life and playing a small part in a couple’s special day is a true honour and fills me with so much joy.
Following a degree at University in Hotel Management, then a 20 year career in the world of finance and raising my family, I decided I wanted to go back to my passion for baking and sugar work, starting Julie Scrumptious Cake Design in 2018. Since then, I have fine-tuned my skills, mastered the art of sugar flowers, and bring with me a wealth of experience in cake design and weddings. I am a big believer in continually learning new things and growing my skillset to remain relevant and on trend. This helps me in advising my couples and delivering the most stunning, delicious wedding cakes.
